CDL Truck Driver Bismarck ND

We are currently looking to add a CDL Truck Driver to our team. DMVW is a family-owned company that values their employees. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting loads to and from designated locations in a safe and efficient manner. Additional duties include:

Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Inspecting loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Securing cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs.
Loading or unloading trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary.
Assisting others with various duties as directed by Management
Compliance with company, customer and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required

Qualifications

Current Class A CDL License Required
Clean Driving Record
Must be able to lift 85 lbs. and handle physically demanding work
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, pre-employment physical, drug screening and participate in the random testing pool
